Seal Carving
A whalebone carving of a seal, made by Walter Shewan of Still. Walter Shewan is best known for building sailing boats, but was clearly also a talented artist. He came from a gifted family - his father, Sinclair Shewan, composed the Fetlar Lullaby sometime prior to the First World War, and both his daughters were teachers at the Fetlar school.
